Our drug and alcohol support services are completely free of charge.
Will anyone find out I am using your service?
All your information is kept safe, and not shared outside of our organisation without your explicit permission. Without your permission, we are only obliged to share information with other professionals if there is a serious risk to you or to another person.
I’m not sure if I have a problem. Will I be wasting your time?
Our colleagues have a lot of experience supporting people to decide what changes they want to make. We work with some people for a long time while others need only brief support.
I know someone who might have a problem. Can I refer them?
It’s brilliant that you can see how support could benefit the person – but they must be aware of the referral. You can accompany the person to support them attending. And because we understand that substance use can impact on friends and family, we offer a dedicated service to the family, friends, and carers of our service users.
I’m nervous about what happens next.
