Environmental Policy

Turning Point aims to minimise the environmental impact of its activities. Our environmental policy sets out the scope of our activities and the responsibilities of all staff. If you would like to read a copy of this policy please contact us on [email protected]

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

We are committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred services that meet the needs of everyone who relies on us. Our work and our workforce reflects the diversity of the communities we serve, and we strive to respond to those diverse needs with fairness, respect and compassion. We are dedicated to treating every individual who works with us, works for us, or uses our services with dignity, equality and autonomy, and we will challenge discrimination and stigma wherever and whenever it arises. We aim to build and sustain a workforce that has cultural competency with the communities we support. We are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels valued, included and empowered to thrive. Through accessible learning, development and progression opportunities, we will support all colleagues to reach their full potential. We will actively work to eliminate discrimination, harassment, victimisation and any other inappropriate conduct in all aspects of what we do. We are committed to embedding equity, diversity and inclusion across our policies, culture and everyday practices, and to upholding and promoting human rights in every part of our organisation.

Corporate Statements

Turning Point is committed to delivering good quality services and outcomes for the individuals we support and value for money for the commissioners of our services. The Group Board are responsible for ensuring that the group has appropriate tax accounting arrangements in place and maintaining a comprehensive system of control over the company books of account and transactions.

We believe in authentic and honest communication, and as such we are happy to publish information about gender pay differences within our organisation, in line with government requirements.

We know that slavery, servitude, forced labour and human trafficking (Modern Slavery) is a global and growing issue. Turning Point has a zero tolerance approach to Modern Slavery of any kind within our operations and supply chains. Turning Point has taken the opportunity during this last year to enhance policies and procedures as well as training in order to fully cover the risks posed by Modern Slavery.

The Group follows best practice and has robust controls, policies and procedures in place to prevent fraud, bribery and corruption. To limit our exposure to bribery we have in place a Counter-Fraud, Bribery and Corruption Policy, which includes our policy on Gifts and Hospitality.
