At Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership, drug and alcohol support and recovery services are provided by a partnership of Turning Point, Double Impact and Framework. The IPS Employment Team, established in September 2024, works with people accessing support to find structure, purpose and confidence through employment as part of their recovery journey.

IPS is a national, evidence-based employment service designed to help people accessing health services to find work to aid their recovery. It offers intensive, individually tailored support to help people to choose and find the right job, with ongoing support for the employer and employee to help ensure the person thrives in their new role.

They tailor support to each individual, which can include building CVs and honing interview skills, identifying transferable skills and growing their confidence to re-enter the world of employment.

The team also work closely with loyal employers to offer advice and encouragement throughout the employment process, carefully matching candidates to roles and offering ongoing support throughout the early stages of their employment.

On receiving the news of ranking first in the country, Danny Sheehan, Senior Employment Specialist, said:

"We're really proud to have achieved the accolade and it's a credit to the hard work of our team and the people we support. To us, the most important part of the recognition is that we've helped as many people as possible change their life through work."
