Who We Are

Everyone’s journey is different.

Whether you want to reduce your drug or alcohol use, use in a safer way, or work towards recovery, our experienced team are here to listen and offer confidential support. We’ll work with you to find the right help, at your pace and on your terms.

We’re a partnership between Turning Point, Double Impact and Framework, allowing us to offer joined-up, non-judgemental and reliable advice and support. Our support is free, and available to all people living in North East Lincolnshire.

If you are under 18, we have a specialist young persons’ service called Inspiring Futures.

How can we support you?

We support a wide range of people - from different backgrounds and with different circumstances - to make a positive change to their drug or alcohol use.

Once you get in touch, you’ll be connected with a dedicated keyworker who will talk through what you’d like to achieve, and work with you to create and work through a personalised plan. We’ll also explore the opportunities and community resources that may further support you in moving forward.

We’re here for every step of your journey

We work in partnership with a number of local organisations and so with your agreement, we can refer you to other organisations who can offer further support to power your recovery.

We also recognise that it’s not everyone’s goal to stop using alcohol or drugs, so a key part of our service is offering harm reduction advice to help people keep themselves and others as safe as possible. Our hub has a Needle Syringe Provision (NSP), and we supply Naloxone both in person and via our Click and Deliver service.

How We Support You

Detoxification, Rehabilitation and Harm Reduction

Detoxification and Rehabilitation

If you need to access drug and alcohol detoxification (detox) or rehabilitation (rehab) as part of your plan, the focus will be on improving physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing so your long-term recovery can be achieved.

We can either support you to access this whilst living at home or in a residential detox/rehab facility.

You will be supported to manage your withdrawal symptoms and will be supported to make positive changes in your everyday life.

Reduce the Harm of Drugs and Alcohol

We know that people may need, or may choose to, continue using alcohol and drugs while getting help from our service. For some people it may be dangerous to stop completely until they are ready, or they may need specialist treatment to help them stop safely.

We also recognise that it is not everyone’s goal to stop using alcohol or drugs, so we also provide harm reduction advice to help people keep themselves and others as safe as possible.

Criminal Justice

We have a dedicated team who support people who are in contact with the criminal justice system, based in the police stations, courts, probation, and prisons to connect with people when they need our support.

We aim to support people who may be in an offending cycle. By offering holistic care around their health and wellbeing and supporting them to reduce their drug and alcohol use, we support people to live independent, crime-free lives and reduce reoffending.

Prescribing

Specialist Prescribing

To establish whether this is appropriate for you, you will have a comprehensive clinical assessment with our team of doctors, nurses, and pharmacists.

Following this assessment, if appropriate, you may be safely started on prescribed medication under the supervision of our clinical team and your pharmacy if appropriate.

Social Prescribing

We provide support to improve the practical, social, and emotional needs that affect health and wellbeing.

We can create a personalised plan to connect you to groups and services in your local community, which might include activities such as volunteering, art, gardening, exercise, cookery, or writing.

Ongoing Support

Mental Health Support

We have a dedicated team who support individuals to address both mental health issues and drug and alcohol problems alongside each other. We provide some support in house to help with things like anxiety and depression, and we have a team of psychologists and psychotherapists who can provide specialist support.

Support for Young People

We support young people and their families to deal with the challenges they face around drugs, alcohol and associated issues.

If you want to make changes, whether it’s to cut down, quit, gain control, or just to learn more about the risks and effects of taking drugs and alcohol we’re here to support.

Peer Mentors

Our Peer Mentors are people who have struggled with drugs and alcohol themselves. Peer Mentors are experts by experience, who we have trained to share hope and inspiration with others.

Your Recovery Worker can organise a one-to-one with a Peer Mentor, who will empower you on your journey of positive change.

Employment Support

We have specialist employment workers who offer intensive, individually tailored support to help you to find the right job, with ongoing support to help you keep your job, or find a different one if things aren’t working out.

We help with practical things like CVs, applying for jobs and preparing for interviews, but also support you to look after your own wellbeing at work.

Rough Sleeping Support

We recognise that people experiencing homelessness often have multiple complex problems that they need support with. We have a dedicated team who support people affected by rough sleeping based within the community, in hostels and in day centres.

We work with a variety of organisations supporting people on the streets to ensure we reach as many people who need support as possible.

Preventing Overdose

Free Naloxone kits and training

To help reduce drug-related deaths we provide free overdose response Naloxone kits to people at risk of an opioid overdose, their family and friends, and members of the public who could help prevent an overdose.

Through our Click and Deliver service, these are delivered to an address of your choice in plain packaging. Order yours now and help save lives.
