We work with you in the community to offer tailored workshops, drop-in services, community health and wellbeing events, 1:1 educational, HIV prevention support and chaperoning to clinics and health appointments. We also partner with Sexual Health London to provide easy access to STI kits for a swift and easy treatment process.

Our person-centred approach to supporting you

Need to test for STIs?

You can order a free STI home testing kit from Sexual Health London who will send it in discreet packaging to your chosen address. This means you can collect your samples in a space you are familiar and comfortable with, at a time that works best for you.

Once you’ve got all your samples, you simply pop them back in the box and post it back to them for free, where they will run tests in their lab to confirm your results.

Outreach and Workshops

Our workshops have been adapted from our young person’s RSE programme and customised to reflect challenges and barriers experienced by our target populations. Please do reach out for more information regarding our community health and wellbeing events, we’re also really keen to work in partnership with existing local community providers too!

The Alex Project

Provided by our partners, Spectra, we’ll be offering a bespoke package for sex-workers across our three boroughs. These services are peer-led and delivered in sex worker-only spaces. As part of this offer, Spectra will be providing:

  • Regular Community Based Drop ins (including access to condoms, lube, menstrual sponges, and SHL testing kits; provided at discretion)

One to One Conversations

We realise that may of the people we serve have missed out on essential sexual health and wellbeing information for a variety of reasons. We approach anyone who accesses our services with kindness and compassion and meet everyone where they’re at with their journey. In our 1:1 session, we provide educational support depending of the person’s need, HIV prevention advice, and chaperoning to sexual health clinics and any other health appointments.

A Safe Space

One of the most important things is that the Young Lambeth Sexual Health service is first and foremost a safe space. We provide advice on relationships and sexual health, but can also help if you need support, and get you the right help if needed

STI Testing

During our sessions, we can provide STI testing kits to those aged 16 and over as part of SHL. You can also get STI screening tests (including HIV tests) from your local sexual health clinic, or online.

Professional Training

We offer a training package for professionals across the three boroughs providing advice and guidance to aid you in better helping the people you support. To enquire about the training we offer, please contact us at [email protected].

Community Funding

Apply for up to £2,500 funding to help local people and community groups launch activities that will increase awareness around sexual health and wellbeing, reduce stigma, improve social isolation,  demonstrate the five ways to wellbeing and have a lasting legacy beyond the funding.
