Run by Social Enterprise UK in partnership with Co-operatives UK, the awards celebrate organisations that are leading the way in delivering social impact and empowering communities in the UK.
Across 15 categories, the awards showcase the strength, diversity and innovation of organisations which are changing lives for good.
For more than 60 years, Turning Point has worked to empower the lives of people and communities across the country. Being selected as finalists in the Public Services Social Enterprise of the Year category reflects the commitment of our colleagues, volunteers, partners, and the people we support.
Social enterprises are businesses that trade for a social or environmental purpose, and reinvest at least half their profits to further that mission. There are more than 100,000 social enterprises in the UK, employing 2.3 million people, and we’re delighted to be recognised as one of the best in this pioneering business movement.
The winners will be announced at the UK Social Enterprise Awards ceremony in Manchester on 12 November, where organisations from across the country will come together to celebrate the achievements of the social enterprise movement.
