We are not affiliated with any political movements or organisations with similar names, including Turning Point UK (TPUK).
Founded in 1964, we have a long history of supporting people with substance use, mental health, learning disabilities, and sexual health challenges. Our services are designed to be person-centred, inclusive, and accessible.
We provide integrated drug and alcohol services, including detox and rehab (both day and residential), supported accommodation, and tailored support for individuals referred through the criminal justice system. For those facing mental health challenges, we offer talking therapies, crisis support, and specialist forensic services.
Our housing support services help people live independently, offering residential care, nursing care, outreach, and wellbeing-focused community support.
We also deliver sexual health services, including SASH across three London boroughs, and additional sexual health support in other regions, helping people access confidential advice, testing, and treatment.
In 2024/25, Turning Point delivered £166.67 million in social value, including:
- £131.87 million invested in employing local people
- £7.79 million invested in local voluntary, community, and social enterprise organisations
Julie Bass, CEO of Turning Point, said: “Social value is an integral part of our vision. We support economic growth, enable more people into work, and focus on prevention to build healthier communities. The true measure of our impact is the positive change we bring to people’s lives.”
