We are here for those dealing with major challenges in their lives, delivering care where it is most needed.
We know we can't reach everyone but by offering innovative services in the right place, at the right time it is our ambition to help:
- The 3.8 million people who are dependent on alcohol
- The 330,000 problem drug users in England
- The estimated 210,000 people in England with profound learning disabilities
- The 1 in 4 British adults who experience at least one diagnosable mental health problem in any one year
- The 50% of people in drug or alcohol services who also have a mental health problem
- The one third of people in mental health services who also have a drug or alcohol problem
- The 40% of young people with a learning disability who have significant mental health issues
- The people who live in the ten most under-funded health trusts in England and Wales which cover some of the poorest areas in the country with above-average levels of ill health
