Mental health

A personal approach to mental health

We are uniquely placed to support people who have a complex range of needs because we are specialists not only in mental health services but in a range of social care interventions.

We work beyond the boundaries traditionally ascribed to health and social care services, offering integrated support that sees past a person's mental health diagnosis to support them with all their needs.

We offer a person-centred approach to mental health treatment by assessing the needs of each client and offering flexible support packages which are individually tailored to that person.

We provide a broad range of services in mental health, which include:

  • outreach services (ie in client's own home or preferred location)
  • high support services and services for people with a history of offending
  • independent hospitals
  • supported housing
  • crisis services
  • low intensity mental health support for depression and anxiety

We have also developed Rightsteps, our innovative mental wellbeing model, as part of the Government's Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme, to prevent people spiralling into crisis and ensuring that people have support earlier so they can manage their mental health and remain stable.

We also work in parnership with the Sussex Partnership Trust to provide Health in Mind, a wellbeing service in sussex.

Our mental health services are committed to a personalised, flexible, recovery-focused approach for anyone in need, including those with complex needs.
