Turning Point Employment

At Turning Point we understand the importance of employment in helping a person with drug, alcohol or mental health issues, or a learning disability to get the most out of life and engage with the community. We also know that work fulfils deep psychological needs: it is central to identity and social roles and status, which in turn drive better mental and physical health. So, for people with complex needs, with mental health issues and substance misuse issues, those with offending behaviour and the homeless, it’s even more important that they receive support that works for them from an organisation that understands their needs.

At Turning Point we have developed specialist employment services that deliver real results for individuals and society. Through tailoring our support we help clients to find meaningful employment and encourage our clients to become independent, forward-looking people who can get on with leading as full a life as possible.

We provide employment programmes and personalised work-focused support for people with a wide spectrum of needs from mild to complex. These programmes draw particularly upon our specialist experience, providing holistic services that address underlying social, economic and health-issues.
