Turning Point responds to the NAO mental health report

In response to the National Audit Office report on mental health services, John Campbell, Turning Point's Managing Director for Mental Health services said:

‘Those working in mental health services have a lot to be proud of, yet the NAO report published today highlights again the many areas of the system that still require improvement.

‘Despite all of the support and profile mental health has achieved of late, we will be letting people down if real changes aren’t made swiftly in regards to how we collate and use data; how people access services in a timely way; and prioritise cross-sector partnerships to deliver change.

’That’s why I hope the outcomes of this audit are heard and lead to tangible action on the ground.’
