Turning Point launches Residential Detox and Rehab Wellbeing Cloud

News item posted: 17 March 2017

Turning Point has launched a new website, The Wellbeing Cloud, which aims to provide health and recovery guidance to users of Turning Point’s substance misuse services.

The site is currently live in Manchester, Cumbria and Cheshire for our Inpatient Detox and Residential Rehabilitation services but will soon be rolled out in other locations where Turning Point delivers services.

The website makes support and advice easily accessible, and offers opportunities for remote appointments. As well as providing useful information for service users, the inspiration section contains stories from people who have used the service themselves.

The site is based on feedback from service users and staff and was developed in consultation with them.

Joanna Roberts, Operations Manager at Smithfield Detox and Chester and Leigh Bank Rehab said: “Our Residential Detox and Rehab Wellbeing Cloud is an exciting new way for us to inspire recovery.  This online platform offers self-help tools, provides information and is a new way in which people can refer into our services.  We will be continuing to develop the site to ensure that it is up to date and useful and welcome any feedback.”
