Commenting on the NHS Future Forum's recommendations to Government, Turning Point's Chief Executive and NHS Future Forum member Lord Victor Adebowale said;

"Professor Field has done a great job in completing this task in eight weeks, given the time constraints and the fact that the exercise itself was not ideal. I think we have a lot more listening to do."

"There are some sensible recommendations in the report, such as abolishing the 2013 deadline.  However, I remain concerned about addressing the needs of those with complex needs.  This is the litmus test for a modern NHS and saves money. Accountable, transparent, community commissioning remains key to achieving better outcomes for this group."
