Following a recent accreditation process, Turning Point has been awarded a Silver Award by Investors in People (IIP). The award puts Turning Point within the top 5% of organisations recognised by IIP.

IIP measure the quality of how organisations lead, support and manage people for sustainable results.

Lord Victor Adebowale, Chief Executive of Turning Point said: ‘This is an excellent result and I am very proud of our staff for their hard work. Investors in People were particularly impressed by Turning Point’s commitment, dedication and passion to providing good quality services for the people we support.’

Turning Point entered the new accreditation process a number of months ago, surveying members of staff from across the organisation followed by focus groups and interviews. The new, more rigorous standards are in line with Turning Point’s ambitions to achieve platinum accreditation.

IIP noted in their report that Turning Point are ‘an organisation that is continually improving processes to reflect innovation … It is clear that people at all levels ‘love’ their work and are passionate about making a difference to the quality of life of the service users.’
