Turning Point's Chief Executive Lord Adebowale said:

‘Today’s Care Quality Commission (CQC) report on the state of adult social care shows what we know to be true: that the sustainability of adult social care is approaching a tipping point. In the face of this, Turning Point strives to provide good quality care.

‘The State of Care report has recognised Turning Point’s mental health service Douglas House as an example of an outstanding quality of care. Over the last year, we have worked hard to ensure that a majority (91%) of Turning Point’s services received a ‘Good’ overall rating in CQC inspections, and despite growing pressures in adult social care, we are determined to maintain that level of quality.’
