Garrow House wins Independent Secure Provider of the Year Award for 2012

Garrow House, a specialist high support service designed especially for women, has been named Independent Secure Provider of the Year at the Independent Healthcare APEX awards on 24th October 2012.

The Apex Award program celebrates and rewards good practice within the sector. Garrow House is a Northern Pathways service which is a joint venture between Turning Point and The Retreat.

The Independent Secure Provider of the Year Award was given specifically for the work Garrow House does on relational security, involvement and social inclusion. Janine Strange, Assistant Director of Development for Mental Health Services at Turning Point said;

"I am delighted that the work we do at Garrow House has been recognised and rewarded in this way. The programs were judged on their overall approach to specific health care challenges and their results in overcoming those challenges. It is great that the work of the team has been recognised and we look forward to building on this success."
