Residential Rehabilitation

When you have had complex, multiple or long term mental health problems, it can be difficult to deal with everyday life. The thought of living alone can be particularly daunting. But Turning Point's CQC-registered care home services can provide you with a safe and supportive environment - so you can make this transition smoothly. We'll work closely with you to help you regain your confidence, independence and integrate back into the community.

We aim to:

  • Focus on you and your recovery
  • Bring about improvements in any challenging behaviour
  • Increase your independence and overall wellbeing
  • Give you the skills you need to live more independently
  • Get you involved in the community where you live
  • Help you to access community services.

Our residential services will help you on the path towards sustained recovery and independent living. We provide an environment which is homely, and not institutional, but maintains the appropriate level of safety and security.

Our residential rehabilitation services are available to everyone aged between 16 and 65 years. You must be registered, resident or homeless within a defined catchment area and have enduring mental health needs. You may also have substance misuse needs that are controlled. You will require 24-hour support from trained staff and should be willing and able to participate in the recovery programme.

Referrals into residential care home services are accepted from:

  • Care managers from agreed areas
  • Employees of the prison system, acute wards, community mental health needs
  • NHS or independent sector providers
  • Social workers
  • Nurses
  • Clinicians
