Person Centred Approach

We pride ourselves on taking a person centred approach (PCA) to turning lives around. This means that we put the individual at the heart of everything we do, which produces the very best outcomes and, in turn, provides mechanisms for benchmarking, evidencing and reviewing.

Person centred approach is a way of supporting and working with people that informs our whole culture. So we'll always put the client at the centre of the care they receive - and provide a framework for them to plan and set a direction for their life.

Each person-centred service is different. Rather than just place people in a pre-existing service and expect them to adjust - we will adjust to them. They will play a large part in the development of the service, how it looks, feels and operates.

To make sure that PCA is implanted throughout our organisation, we provide comprehensive internal training for all staff - as well as specific toolkits for our learning disability, mental health and substance misuse services.
