Self directed support
Self directed support means you having control over your own support and choice over the services you receive.
At Turning Point, we understand that individuals each want different things from the services we provide. We know that you aren’t the same as the person next to you, and we our services reflect that. If you have a personal or individual budget, or a direct payment, we want to help you make the right decisions for your particular circumstances.
We are always looking at ways to enable the individuals using our services to take more control over their lives. This is irrespective of the multiple challenges and complex needs so often experienced by the people who come to Turning Point. Self directed support is a great new way for individuals with complex needs to make sure they are getting just what they need to turn their lives around.
If you’re already receiving social care services, whatever your need, and you’re interested in getting more control over the support you need, then get in touch with your care manager.
