Our work

Turning Point is the UK's leading social care organisation.

Our expertise across a broad range of areas means we can provide services directly to people with multiple issues that other organisations can find difficult to support.

Our work across substance misuse, mental health, learning disability, employment and young people's support has led us to develop approaches that tackle people's whole needs. We pride ourselves on addressing wider issues of health and social disadvantage.

We have been providing this kind of support for over forty years and we have grown by doing it well. We now provide social care from 250 services across England and Wales, working directly with over 100,000 service users.

Turning Point also has a number of new initiatives aimed at transforming the way health and social care is delivered. Some examples of this are the new Turning Point Building Futures service, an exciting and innovative new service being developed through Futurebuilders funding, and our new model to help PCTs meet their need to increase access to psychological therapies.
