Our Governance structure

The structure of Turning Point's Governance Team incorporates both Trustees and Committee members.

Board of Trustees
The current Board of Trustees is comprised of nine non-executive directors, and is responsible for setting and ensuring compliance with Turning Point's values, objectives and strategy. The members are drawn from a range of backgrounds and offer a combination of professional, commercial, and financial skills. The Board meets formally four times a year.

Turning Point Trustees
Andrew Webster (Chair), Judith Brodie (Vice Chair), Elisabeth Al-Khalifa
Judy Clements, David Croisdale-Appleby, Richard Martin, Hilary Rowell
Justin Russell, Aubrey Owusu

Committee Structure
In addition to Trustees each committee has a number of external "experts" who provide invaluable advice on strategic direction and specific issues which come before the committees.

Committee Members
Heather Heaton (Governance)
Charles Cormick (Governance)
Matthew Marsh (Governance)
Dean Repper (Governance)

Chris Poston (Audit)
Mike Pack (Audit)
Rachel Mayman (Audit)

The Governance Committee has responsibility for reviewing the overall financial position and discusses a wide range of operational issues facing Turning Point. This Committee meets 6 times a year.

There is also an Audit Committee which receives reports from both internal and external auditors and meets 3 times a year. The committee members of the Audit Committee are in the majority, in order to ensure impartiality and objectivity.

Both of these Committees have independent committee members in addition to Trustees.
